Thank you for visiting my little part of the world! This is an exciting new adventure for me and I hope you come along for the ride! The past few years have brought me so much personal, professional, and spiritual growth coupled with some amazing experiences and the culmination is me creating this space!
I’ve been a practicing Interior Designer for the last 18 years mostly in the commercial space which I have loved! But over the last 3 years I had the opportunity to design a home for my family, from the floor plan to cabinet layout, to paint colors and everything in between. Like the quote says ‘every piece designed in a work of art called love’ and for me nothing rings truer. Even after living here for a few months I’m still designing this house to be exactly what our family needs to function well. For me that’s what interior design is about, creating spaces that encourage people to flourish.
I’m also a Christian, and through the home building process I’d say my faith was definitely tested (building a house is not for the faint of heart!) but ultimately my faith has just grown exponentially. Faith that our family is where He wants us. Faith that He will provide. Faith that He made me for this moment and purpose. And faith that in this season connecting with and serving others is my purpose.
I can’t imagine a better place to serve people than in their homes. Our home is our resting place, our safe space, and where our day begins and ends. A home should exude the spirit of the family, bring joy and allow space to grow, rest, dream, play, and connect. For our family when we finally made it into our new home it was like all of our spirits could rest and the transformation we’ve all felt since has been truly beautiful. I cannot wait to share all I’ve learned and help others dream, design, and create their perfect homes too!
